Quasi modo and frankenstein

Oh my poor old back, all that packing last night did not do me any favours. I am a cross between the good old hunchback of notre dame and frankensteins monster. Limited mobility in my neck - which makes me look somewhat robotic. Not very attractive at all.
I seem to be making some headway with the packing (only one more box of books - that I know about to go !!) Even managed to pack glasses and crockery so am definitely making progress.
Had a lovely lunch with the spawned ones and Lesley. She made a gorgeous apple and blackberry pie - which I polished off for my evening meal last night. It was a diet pie because I had no starters !!
Only four more days left with the little one, before she heads off for unknown and exciting pastures. It will be strange not having her around, but we have managed break the ties slowely with her living 'up north'. What an adventure, I am quite envious - Here I am sloping off to the money mines each day and trotting home to what I consider a reasonably interesting life - it is nothing compared to what she is about to venture on.
Hei ho, better get on with my work - mining is such tedious work :0)
